Head of Quality (Internal Factory) I

Job Objective
Management of the internal quality organization, control and implementation of methods and processes for ensuring quality as well as intervention and solution finding in comprehensive quality procedures with the affected internal and external positions as well as with quality management
Cooperation in quality-relevant incidents, including suspension of delivery due to defective parts
Ensuring and complying with the legally mandated COP (conformity of production) requirements in inspections during series production of the products to be manufactured in the plant for the license holder and the obligation to immediately inform both the managing director and the license holder of any deviations from the legally mandated values

Duties and Responsibilities

Quality management system
1.-Fulfillment of customer-specific requirements based on the Hella Quality Management System to preserve long-term competitiveness nationally and internationally
2.-Train the employees to ensure qualificationsQuality improvement plan
1.-Responsible to develop, maintain and pursuit continues improvement plans (budget, quality targets)

Audits
1.-Plan and supervise internal process and product audits and manage deviations by taking corrective actions
2.-Support and supervise external systems and process audits and manage deviations by taking corrective actionsProduct quality
1.-Monitoring of quality performance, detection of quality and service problems including introducing corrective actions, checking their effectiveness and customer communicationQuality in the Time-to-Market process
1.-Intervention and/or reporting in the event of quality problems in production to product/process development and influencing the implementation of corrective actions in new developments, to ensure an error-free start of production through stable and capable processes and methodsQuality reporting
1.-Reporting to the plant management on relevant quality topics, quality KPI’s (metrics) and trend of Quality costsLeadership
1.-Deploying employees corresponding to their qualifications within the relevant structure. Instructing and supporting employees in a target-oriented and motivating manner to fulfill the tasks
2.-Guiding, instructing and supporting employees in function-related tasks
3.-Responsible for hiring and performance evaluation as well as qualification demands
