Hardware Support Engineer

We are seeking an Engineering Hardware Coordinator to join our engineering team and contribute to the future of Honeywell products. In this role, you will work closely with engineering leadership to manage data collection and processing, document product specifications and processes, and create technical illustrations.

You will also be responsible for coordinating project planning and scheduling, acting as a liaison between engineering groups, and providing data reporting for both internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain management and possess strong organizational and communication skills.

\n

 

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n\nLoad SAP demand and create purchase requisitions.\nAssist in the creation and review of request for quotes (RFQs) and follow up to obtain supplier quotations.\nAssist in supplier contract negotiations.\nAssist in the creation and review of purchase orders (POs).\nWrite sole source justifications and obtain engineering estimates.\nAssist in determining should cost analysis.\nMaintain documentation and tracking records to show progress and update project schedules/milestones.\nComplete research and development to identify viable sources of supply within Honeywell's approved source list (ASL) for new parts.\nAssist with classification of documents and Technical Data Package (TDP) submittals to suppliers using digital data portal.\nCoordinate new part set-up in SAP, including make vs. buy determination, material master creation, and bill of materials (BOMs) accuracy checks.\nFollow and audit the physical progress of engineering development hardware through the manufacturing process.\nCoordinate and prepare documentation required for qualification hardware conformity.\nParticipate in physical inventory and property management of government-owned hardware and tooling.\nAssist in generating costed bill of materials.\n\n

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, the candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

MUST HAVES

\n\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nExperience in supply chain management.\n\n

 

\n

 

\n

WE VALUE
