What the day will look like
Primarily responsible for driving growth across the Region by supporting Sales teams. Accountable to the National Sales Leader to lead the regional Deliver Aon United (DAU) strategy and assist in the delivery of new business goals for the region. By driving individual goal achievement, the Growth Enablement Leader helps the office, region and Aon attain aggregate sales goals. Always promotes the value Aon delivers to clients. Performs as a player/coach and responsible for supporting individual sales and accountability.
Key responsibilities and scope
+ Accountable for assisting in driving the new business goals for the office(s)/region
+ Promotes the value Aon delivers and drives Account Executive portfolio accountability
+ Supports the execution of DAU strategies and the National Sales and Marketing platform and initiatives
+ Oversee the development, implementation and quarterly update of Account Executive annual plans
+ Monitor and asses ongoing new business development, accounts in jeopardy and related pipeline activity to assess Account Executive and office(s) accountability
+ Communicate innovative approaches, best practices, market and competitor trends nationally
Mandate
+ Lead objectives across the business while developing and maintaining a sales-focused culture across the region’s sales organization
+ Educate Account Executives and Broking Leaders on new products, approaches, services/solutions, Aon’s capabilities and thought leadership with training on the segment or client applicability and recommend sales strategy with clients and prospects
+ Proactively and consistently communicate and network with clients, prospects, insurers, and competitors to maintain a current knowledge on talent and market
+ Champion Articulating Aon Value: drive best practices in client pricing, compensation structures, and yield management
+ Facilitate regional pricing council and targeted pre-discovery meetings
+ New opportunity/prospect discovery and local market planning
+ Participate in the quarterly National Sales meetings as the sales region representative – providing progress updates
+ Responsible for managing success tracking through revenue uplift and Aon Connect opportunity generation

Skills and experience that will lead to success
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
+ 7 to 10 years of experience in a leadership role
+ Strong expertise in relationship building, along with sales operations experience
+ Consistent track record to build, maintain and expand effective professional relationships across Aon’s solution lines
+ High levels of Emotional Quotient/Intelligence (EQ) and eye for business
+ Natural curiosity coupled with a positive mentality and approach to problem solving
+ RIBO licence is an asset
