The Manager will lead and drive performance of a high-performing analytics pod, supporting and constructively challenging product owners to build structured, scalable, and stable analytics products. This role is not only accountable for delivering impactful data-driven solutions but also for fostering strong partnerships and enabling sustainable business value through insightful, actionable analytics supporting the strategy of the Global Function and Markets around the world.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Business Partnership & Road mapping (25%)
– Act as a trusted advisor to global business owners within the GCOE, helping articulate analytics priorities and shape the long-term data & analytics roadmap.
– Co-develop strategic problem statements with product owners and collaborators, translating them into measurable objectives.
– Ensure tight integration between global priorities and zone-level implementation and adoption.
Analytics Product Leadership (25%)
– Lead a cross-functional analytics pod to deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable analytical solutions and models.
– Challenge product owners and business collaborators constructively on use case value, design decisions, and delivery timelines.
– Advocate for standardization and long-term stability in product development and lifecycle management.
Operational Excellence & Value Delivery (25%)
– Build strong governance routines to drive velocity of the pod, ways of working and connectivity with the business
– Monitor delivery metrics and track adoption, outcomes, and business impact of analytics products.
– Ensure best-in-class practices in data governance, modeling, automation, and self-serve enablement.
– Partner with technology and data engineering teams to ensure robust data pipelines and infrastructure support.
Talent Development & Team Leadership (20%)
– Provide direction, coaching, and development opportunities to junior analytics team members.
– Promote a high-performance culture rooted in ownership, teamwork, and innovation.
Cross-Zone & Global Engagement (5%)
– Act as the liaison between global teams and regional/zone teams to ensure knowledge sharing, consistent metrics, and value alignment.
– Drive harmonization of analytics methodologies and reporting standards across geographies.
Education & Experience
– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
– 6+ years of experience in analytical role (within the supply chain space: Manufacturing/Finance/Data experience preferred).
– Consistent record in translating business challenges into data-driven solutions and measurable impact.
– Experienced working in or closely with global & regional teams.
Technical & Behavioral Skills
– Exceptional communication, team member management, and problem-solving skills.
– Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
– Comfortable operating in a dynamic, matrixed, and fast-paced environment.
– Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
– Previous experience working in agile methodology
– Strong understanding of data modeling, analytics lifecycle, and statistical techniques.
