Global Logistics Operations Manager

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be::

Logistics Strategy Development: Develop and implement long-term logistics strategies that align with the company’s global business objectives. Operational Support & Escalation Management: Supporting regional teams and ensuring continuity of service through robust process design and continuous improvement. Own and resolve critical logistics escalations in a timely manner, working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to minimize operational disruptions. Performance Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve the performance of logistics services, focusing on key performance indicators such as cost, quality, and on-time delivery (OTD). Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in logistics processes to optimize overall efficiency. Vendor and Customer Relationship Management: Handle complex customer or partner critical issues with urgency, providing effective resolutions while maintaining strong customer relationships. Establish and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, ensuring effective collaboration and performance. Manage quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with key logistics vendors to ensure alignment with business goals, cost controls, and service expectations. Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal collaborators such as Customer Operations, Supply Chain, Trade Compliance and Procurement teams. Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives within logistics operations to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall service quality. Cross-functional Leadership: Work cross-functionally and collaborate with different leadership teams to drive seamless coordination between departments involved in the logistics process. Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and analysis on logistics performance, cost savings, and operational improvements. Utilize data and analytics to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for optimization.

For this Role, You will Need:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Economics, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus. 7+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with a focus on global operations. Proven track record of developing and implementing logistics strategies that improve cost, quality, and on-time delivery. Strong experience in vendor management and negotiating contracts with external logistics providers. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Fluent English

 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and lead teams to achieve performance targets. Expertise in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
