We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as anFX Options Front Office Risk System Engineer.

The FX Options Primary Trading System (FXO PTS) team is responsible for the platform used to capture and enable the risk management of FX and precious metals derivatives. The PTS IT team is part of the wider FX Options IT organization, a team of 70 technologists working in Asia, Europe and North America to support a global business. The team leverages a broad range of technologies and is empowered to own their architecture and innovate.

The FXO PTS team is focused on delivering an in-house system for FX Options risk and life cycle management. This is a hands-on engineering role, reporting into the project lead. The role requires working closely with the broader delivery team, product owner and other front office stakeholders to design and deliver best in class solutions. As this is a multi-year investment project, it will also involve collaboration with trading, quants, operations as well as life cycle and risk technology peers within the broader organisation.

The team operates a DevSecOps model with all members of the team expected to contribute across development, security and operations.

Full stack engineering experienceUse of observability stacks for metrics and tracingProgramming in a range of languages (JS, C , Scala, Scripting etc.)Knowledge of the FX options market and operationsUnderstanding of risk management measures, risk matrices, topographies, etc.Some experience of working with vendor risk management systems, especially Murex
