Together, we'll shape the future of HR Services at IBM. **Your role and responsibilities** The Functional Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of functional resources and ensuring the SAP solution meets established standards. This role directs configuration, testing, and deployment of the solution, manages risks, and ensures knowledge transition to sustainment resources. Key Responsibilities: * Direct configuration build and testing, adhering to defined standards and guidelines * Guide configuration related to business processes and master data, ensuring adherence to standards and data management principles * Define methods and requirements for unit and integration testing * Conduct reviews of Solution Documentation, ensuring adherence to SAP standards * Manage risks that may impact minimum service levels upon deployment * Execute deployment processes and transition knowledge to sustainment resources * Develop communication plans and provide continuous education on existing and new application functionality * Contribute to continuity planning for business operation in the event of a component failure or outage * Provide insight for determining the timing and promotion of SAP support stacks and service packs **Required technical and professional expertise** Required Skills: * Technical project management experience * Knowledge of one or more SAP solution components and their interoperability * Solid understanding of the SAP Activate Methodology * Knowledge of end-to-end development process * Strong written and oral communication skills * Analytical thinking skills * Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding is crucial.
