Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive reliable and timely analysis of financial results, budget, and forecasts. Each day, you will support key business partners and other stakeholders at various levels or within the center of expertise, in decision making processes. You will also showcase your expertise by assisting stakeholders in driving business goals.The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite, #LI- HybridThis role is contributing to the ABB Services in Bangalore. You will be mainly accountable for:\tManages human resource planning, selection, development and periodic performance review of team members, set individual and team goals, objectives and quality standards. Builds and manages high performing teams by providing leadership, role clarity, training and career development opportunities\tCreates learning and business-oriented atmosphere among team members. Responsible for financial analysis delivery by managing a team that executes accurately and timely controlling and planning tasks in compliance with specifications, guidelines and procedures. Closely cooperates with business controllers to shape business performance, provides information to management by assembling and summarizing data, prepares presentations of findings and recommendations. Supports preparation of relevant organization financial reporting, business planning, APP and 5Q Rolling forecast\tWorking on Global Projects including CFIN implementation and Finance transformation Program. Validates accuracy of financial data and business information and reports.\tResponsible for close collaboration with other FP&A CoE teams. Optimizes team’s performance to increase productivity by promoting automated solutions, eliminating duplications, coordinating requirements, identify areas for process/report standardization across the Business, leads implementation of identified changes.\tEnsure proper backup for all team members.\tEnsure SOPs are prepared and updated regularly for all activities performed by the team\tLives ABB’s core values, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues, and the business. Identify and correct monthly reporting quality issues in close coordination with local units. Support during closing on global analysis and locating/correcting errors. Qualifications for the role

\tAt least 7+ years’ experience in Accounting and Finance with 5+ years of experience in FP&A is preferable.\tCA/CMA qualified preferably or master’s degree in Finance. \tProven people Leader who can manage individuals and teams through change, achieve objectives and drive results.\tAbility to interact with Process stakeholders at various levels \tGood communication, problem solving and analytical skills as well as proven ability to prioritize tasks. Fluent in English.\tDemonstrated ability to achieve objectives, focus on details and good analytical skills\tAbility to guide junior team members and provide on the job coaching and training
