Job Overview Responsible for providing financial support and performance analysis to the global/regional operations and plant management teams. The role requires an exceptional business partner to drive organizational success through the development and execution of financial strategies. Key responsibilities include managing a team of operational financial analysts/plant controllers, consolidation and analysis of actual results/forecasts/budgets, conducting monthly plant reviews, product/conversion/material productivity analysis, driving freight/inventory reductions, and supporting capital investments. The position also requires coordination with the regional/global BU supply chain team.What your background should look like:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct month-end closing costing activities and perform related analysis. Support annual budget, monthly forecasts, specifically regarding operational cost and performance. Manufacturing and cost improvements by maintaining, reviewing BOM and Routing, and future development standard costing processes. Make estimates of new and proposed product costs Analysis of manufacturing cost variance in monthly financial report package: Purchase price variance (PPV), material efficiency variance, processing cost variance and collaborate with other departments to optimize cost efficiency Monitor inventory levels and review inventory aging slow and obsoleted moving and escalated to operations for improvement. Closely monitor the costing and inventory of warehouse, branches and project sites Investigate cycle counting variance and resolve issues Provide quarterly and annual review & audit schedules and support for external and internal audits. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations Special projects and ad hoc account analysis as necessary Other accounting and finance duties as assigned by ControllerQUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in manufacturing environment Solid knowledge of standard costing, cost analysis and inventory valuation. Strong analytical, understanding of cost accounting principles and practices Possess efficient work ethics with proven ability and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines Fluent in written and spoken English. Proficient in accounting software-ERP, or SAP will be the must and Microsoft office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Good communication and presentation skills.
