THE JOB
We're looking for a qualified candidate to assist with staff, venue, and event operations. This is a part-time position.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
General Responsibilities
Regularly review and evaluate the operations departments and recommend/implement new operational policies and procedures when necessary.
Keep current on all Emergency Operating Procedures and be able to effectively communicate them to team members.
Keep current on all Standard Operating Procedures and be able to effectively communicate them to team members.
Show CARE by participating in the venue’s sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts.
Staff Onboarding, Scheduling, and Payroll Responsibilities
Assist with hiring event crew including interviewing, onboarding, and training for efficient event operation.
Ensure Operations departments are adequately staffed for every event (adequately for each individual staffing level).
Prepare and accurately administer all hours worked for crew members for assigned departments into the payroll system for timely processing.
Address and resolve inquiries related to payroll and onboarding.
Complete employment verifications and unemployment inquiries as needed.
Track referral bonuses or other available perks.
Show Day Responsibilities
Communicate event staffing plans to M.O.D. and Event Security Supervisor.
Works directly with the Ops Manager and Event Security Manager to assist where needed during events.
Partner with fellow crew members at the end of show to close the venue - this may include collecting trash from around the venue, picking up and properly storing security equipment such as metal detectors and barricade, ensuring all guests have left the venue, etc.
Work with the Event Security Supervisor to track guest and employee incident reports.
Responsible for submitting or delegating the Incident Report form online that Live Nation has started requesting post show.
Special Events Responsibilities
Assist the Special Events Director with executing Special Events.
Act as a liaison between the Special Events Director and the Operations team.
Provide administrative support to the Special Events Director, including maintaining event files, attending meetings, taking notes during event walk-throughs, and streamlining event communications.
Coordinate venue set-up and break down of events.
Assist in conducting pre-shift meetings with the operations crew to communicate event specifics.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
College Degree or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Working knowledge of high-volume venue operations and venue security protocols.
Strong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Acute sense of judgement, tact, and diplomacy.
A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs.
Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50+ lbs, and occasional sitting.
Must obtain security guard license within 6 weeks of hire.

$27.00-$29.00/hour
