About the Role
The Facilities Coordinator supports the daily operations of the company’s facilities by coordinating maintenance activities, managing service requests, managing shipping and receiving, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. This role serves as a central point of contact for facility-related needs and is responsible for scheduling repairs, maintaining records, and providing administrative support to the facilities team.
Your Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for facility-related issues and service requests.Manage shipping, receiving & tracking of material entering & exiting the facilitySchedule and oversee the maintenance and repair of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.Track and manage preventive maintenance schedules to ensure consistent facility performance.Design and oversee the schedule for cleaning and disinfecting of common areas, workspaces, and grounds.Ensure vendors comply with company standards, timelines, and safety protocols.Obtain quotes and manage purchase orders for maintenance and repair projects.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and compliance reports.Update and manage facility management software (e.g., SAP, HSELinx, & GEED) to track work orders and register assets.Assist with budgeting by tracking expenses and providing cost estimates for projects.Restock office and kitchen supplies & ensure first aid kits, fire extinguishers, and other safety equipment are properly maintained.Support compliance with OSHA regulations, building codes, and company safety policies.Assist in organizing safety inspections, audits, and emergency drills.Adapt to evolving responsibilities by supporting cross-functional activities, managing projects, solving problems, improving processes, and building relationships while navigating ambiguity in a dynamic environment.Education
High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).Experience
2+ years of experience in facility coordination, maintenance, or an administrative support role.Familiarity with manufacturing or automotive environments is a plus.LIMITATIONS AND DISCLAIMER
