Position onsite in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

Summary of This Role

Performs preventive and predictive maintenance required for the installation, repair, and modernization of non-specialized machinery and mechanical equipment, plumbing, general construction, and general building maintenance of Global Payments facilities. Provides support and consultation to internal clients in order to identify requirements and configuration is applicable to all relevant federal, statutory, local, and/or internal codes, regulations, requirements, and methodologies. Practices safety first and ensures all proper safe guards are utilized and tools are used in the appropriate manner.

What Part Will You Play?

Assists more experienced team members in routine repairs and maintenance of non‐specialized machinery and mechanical equipment associated with particular types of facilities. Participates in the repair and maintenance of such equipment as air compressors, bailing, and vacuum systems, following all company safety requirements. Performs limited plumbing work, to include cleaning clogged drains, and replacement of washers, faucets, and seals on malfunctioning plumbing equipment. Conducts general building maintenance, as directed. Prepares surfaces and areas for repair, maintenance, or construction projects and cleans up after completion.Utilizes the preventative maintenance program for all material handling equipment and mechanical devices, including maintenance records and preventive maintenance checklists. Records completed repairs of equipment, routine maintenance, and items used to perform the work.Observes the installation, maintenance, or repair work of internal/external personnel, contractors, or vendors and may assist, as directed.Plumbing repairs to include water lines and drains lines. Replace washers, faucets, seals on malfunctioning plumbing Equip as well as cleaning clogged drainsBuilds knowledge of repair and maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment by conforming to the original equipment manufacturers (OEM) instructions, reviewing manuals, and following direction from more experienced team members. Begins to read and comprehend blueprints, technical diagrams, and other schematics.

Pay Range is $20.00 - $25.00
