Role Description:As a Release and Verification Engineer, you will be responsible for the integration, testing, validation, and release of software, hardware, or system components for commercial vehicles. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance throughout the development cycle.
Key Responsibilities:Plan, coordinate, and execute system/software/component verification and validation (V&V) activities.
Prepare and manage release documentation, including version control and change history.
Analyze requirement specifications and create corresponding test plans and test cases.
Perform test execution on test benches, rigs, HiL (Hardware-in-the-Loop), or vehicle level.
Troubleshoot, analyze, and document defects and work with development teams for resolution.
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards (e.g., ISO 26262, ASPICE).
Lead or contribute to release readiness assessments and sign-offs.
Interface with global teams and stakeholders for collaborative development and reporting.
Utilize tools like Jira, DOORS, CANalyzer, Vector tools, and Jenkins for test and release processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.
3–10+ years of hands-on experience in automotive testing, verification, and release processes.
Strong understanding of embedded systems and vehicle electronics.
Experience with test automation frameworks, test benches, and diagnostics tools.
Proficiency in tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, Vector, dSPACE, Jenkins, or similar.
Familiarity with systems engineering and requirement management (e.g., IBM DOORS).
Good knowledge of automotive standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE, etc.).
Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in powertrain, electromobility, ADAS, or connectivity domains.
ISTQB certification or equivalent in software testing.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience in DevOps and CI/CD processes
