Europe Seed Supply Chain Leader

Lead the team with safety and values at the forefront, while maintaining a strong culture of people development and recognition within the supply chain team. Develop and execute both the 1-3 year strategic plan and day to day tactical execution of our seed operations plan. Utilize sound supply chain principles and practices to manage with agility, while developing capabilities to increase our data excellence and data driven decision making for the future. Size of role typically includes 4-6 direct reports and has ~20-30 people in direct reporting line. This role has Significant Influence on Cost of Goods and Customer Experience related to Seed Quality and Order Fulfillment. **Responsibilities** : Ø **Safety** . Provide leadership in driving our safety commitment to zero. Focus on eliminating severe injury potential for your employee workforce. Support safety focus areas for our Production Network. Ø **Values** . Engage supply chain teams to integrate Corteva values in all aspects of our teams and operations. Ø **People** . Create a strong culture of employee development, inclusion and diversity and high employee engagement. Ensure employee development processes are utilized to coach and provide feedback to employees. Ensure employee effort and results are recognized and rewarded. Ø **People** . Develop and execute strategic workforce plans to determine future headcount and skill set needs, succession plans and sourcing qualified candidates. Ø **Strategic Planning** . Develop and execute 1-3 year strategic plans for Europe Supply Chain. The scope includes all supply chain operations and production operation activities needed to execute on delivering quality seed to our commercial sales team on time. The includes, but is not limited to Seed Quality Characterization, Rough Cut Capacity Planning and Scheduling, and Supply Allocations to our Commercial Teams. Ø **Tactical Execution.** Leadership of supply chain team to direct and manage seed operations with agility. Drive execution of plan with excellence and quickly develop, communicate, and mobilize resources to implement contingency plans as business needs or challenges are recognized. Ø **Relationship & Influence.** Maintain strong and frequent communication with commercial sales team. EMEA SPSC shall provide succinct visibility of how we are executing on tactical plans to fulfill customer needs and shall develop proposals for commercial team to help them balance customer needs and business reliability and cost. Ø **Future Vision** . Develop and execute steps to fully capture the value of Data Excellence and Data Driven Decision making in our supply chain operations. **Qualifications & Skills:** ØBA or BS (or equivalent), preferably in supply chain, operations, business, or agriculture discipline Ø10+ years of supply chain, business or operations experience ØMotivational leadership ØExcellent communication and relationship building skills ØUnderstanding of seed production and supply chain principles (quality, productivity, field and plant activities) ØStrong understanding of the seed business ØStrong financial acumen ØHigh level of issue identification, problem solving and decision making skills ØAbility to influence and coordinate effectively cross-functionally and cross-culturally ØRequires up to 20% travel \#LI-OB1 To know more about Corteva please watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bs3CpU29-1M Corteva Agriscience™ is an equal opportunity employer.
