**Under direction of a higher-level professional, coordinates and conducts field assessments of EHS issues in a small or small part of an organization to ensure operational activities are consistent with the needs of the organization and requirements of jurisdictional governmental regulatory agencies. Performs structured assignments that require some interpretation of data and regulations, identification of problem sources, and possible remedial actions.**
**Applies developed EHS procedures and tools involving only limited innovations of methodology to perform well-defined assignments**
**Contributes to recommendations on changes to procedures, standards, and use of equipment**
**Performs specific components of a larger project directed by a more senior EHS professional**
**Support the collection of information to be provided to external jurisdictional governmental regulatory agencies**
**Collaborates with affected employees to potential EHS risks and aspects**
**Proposes revisions to programs, policies and equipment specifications**

**Job Requirements**
**1-3 years’ experience working as a safety professional or in a related field**
**Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technologists (OHST) preferred**
**Federal EPA and state-equivalent programs for environmental protection.**
**Behavioral-based safety concepts involving industrial and manufacturing processes.**
**Extremely competent with the use of computers and Microsoft Word PowerPoint, and Excel**
