Key Responsibilities:
As an Environment and Sustainability Business Partner within Thales, your primary focus in this role will be around managing a varied workflow across environmental compliance for Thales sites across the country. Based in Sydney Olympic Park, you additional responsibilities will include:
Developing, reviewing, and implementing Environmental programs of works along with providing supporting documentationLeading incident reporting and investigations whilst monitoring to ensure that follow ups are complete.Working with site HSE teams to implement Thales’s environment programs.Working closely with managers and employees, across Business Units, to identify areas for improvement, establish Environmental goals, and implement initiatives that enhance Environmental performance.Reviewing, monitoring, managing and providing assurance to Environmental regulatory compliance across Thales Australia sites, supporting submissions as required within the Australian regulatory frameworkContinually identifying through continuous improvement protocols and risk assessments, implementing opportunities to improve Environment and control measure where requiredRegularly providing reports on matters, trends, and initiatives to senior management, highlighting areas of improvement and recommending appropriate actions.Your Skills:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
Australian citizenship5+ years’ experience in leading environmental and sustainability management including water, air emissions, waste, hazardous substances, circular economy, and energy managementA minimum AQF level 7 qualifications in Environmental Science or ManagementDemonstrated experience in a field environment managing systems, assurances, and regulationsA track record in working autonomouslyStrong experience across site management and document knowledge around compliance in-line with local, state and federal government bodiesWe Encourage You to Apply:
