Manufacturing Engineering Technician I Position Summary/Essential Functions: The Manufacturing Engineering Technician will be responsible for learning and supporting ME activities related to dispositioning material discrepancy reports, work instruction updates, procedure/drawing updates, tooling design and organization (physical and database), and other Engineering activities that support Operations. Responsibilities: + Disposition parts written up on material discrepancy reports. Creates reports identifying MRB trends and opportunities for process improvements. + Identifies and updates drawings / procedures / work instructions to clarify and standardize manufacturing processes. + Works with production cells and Engineering to assess needs for safety, 5S, and process improvements related to process development and tooling. + Provides support to Engineering team to resolve TIB issues and anything impacting daily engineering needs. Qualifications: + GED or HS diploma + 4 years of related experience + Blueprint reading and Component Maintenance Manual familiarization. + Demonstrated active participation in team meetings, project teams, improvement efforts. + Broad process experience including inspection, machining, flow test desired. + Use of hand inspection tools. + Level 1 Inspector / Repairman preferred + Interest in completing technical degree and growing into an Engineer role We offer a comprehensive and competitive total compensation package.
