Engineering Project Specialist – Change Control + **Location** Billund, Denmark + **Job ID** 0000024839 + **Category** Project / Program Management **Job Description** **Expert in managing multiple engineering projects simultaneously?** We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineering Project Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing change management processes for engineering projects, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption. You will manage software tools for tracking and controlling changes, ensuring all modifications are properly documented and handled. Additionally, you will maintain and update change-related documents, implement best practices, and provide training and support to project teams. **Responsibilities:** + Oversee the entire engineering change process, from initial request to final implementation. + Review and evaluate Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) to ensure they are complete, accurate, and feasible. + Coordinate with engineering teams to assess the impact of proposed changes on product design, manufacturing processes, and quality standards. + Ensure that all engineering changes are thoroughly documented, including updates to drawings, specifications, and bills of materials (BOMs). + Maintain accurate records of all changes and ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies. + Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and ensure they are properly approved and communicated to all relevant stakeholders. + Apply CM2 methodologies to our process or have a willingness to learn CM2 methodologies to apply to our process. + Work closely with production, quality, procurement, supply chain, sales and marketing teams to ensure that changes are implemented without disrupting operations. + Facilitate meetings and discussions between departments to address any issues or concerns related to engineering changes. + Perform impact analysis of proposed changes on cost, schedule, inventory, and product performance. + Provide regular updates and reports to Engineering Change Board on the status of engineering changes and their impact on the business. + Identify and mitigate risks associated with engineering changes to minimize disruptions and ensure smooth implementation. + Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the engineering change process. + Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce lead times, and improve communication across teams. + Provide training and support to team members on engineering change procedures and best practices. **Do you have what it takes?** + Knowledge of CM2 methodologies and willingness to learn if not already certified. + Proficiency in using Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. + Relevant understanding of change management principles and methodologies. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as attention to detail. + Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. + Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when required. + Robust communication skills are essential for conveying information clearly and effectively to all stakeholders.
