As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International’s Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. Working in a team of 7, you will supervise and manage the day-to-day operations as well as support the team to achieve our purpose.
Some of the responsibilities include:
Preparation of the daily work schedules inclusive of repair and maintenance requests for all engineering colleagues ensuring that tasks are completed in an efficient mannerEffectively plan and implement a preventative maintenance program Monitor implementation of all energy conservation procedures and report any irregularities and non-compliance to the General ManagerCoordinate manage all engineering projects and contractorsEnsure all plant equipment including life safety is maintained and proper records kept in line with safety requirementsEnsure the team has the appropriate training they need to complete tasks in line with health safety regulationsLead the team through Hyatt’s purpose of care, values and leadership expectationsCare Connects Us
