Engineering & Maintenance Manager

Our Bethlehem, PA location is part of our Liquid Beverage division and specializes in coffee extract and flavorings created for Kerry products and customers! What will you do? Main Objective Provide leadership and direction to the plant maintenance & engineering department responsible for the site asset care, maintenance & process optimization, capital planning and energy management. Key Responsibilities + Identify and assess the criticality of plant, equipment and systems on a regular basis and adjusts the site engineering strategy to ensure an efficient and effective operation. + Ensure that equipment and processes are operated to and maintained within their safe design operating limits. + Responsible for ensuring that Kerry policies and standards are implemented and adhered to on site by the maintenance / engineering department and any external services / contractors utilized. + Accountable for ensuring that an effective & comprehensive preventive and predictivemaintenance program is in place & executed on time & on budget, which covers asset reliability, quality, food safety, health & safety, environmental, and legal compliance. + Support the maintenance & engineering team and apply technical skills and ingenuity to the permanent correction of issues, modifications and NPI requirements into the process or equipment as necessary in a timely manner to ensure the business can deliver product to its customers on time at the highest quality. + Responsible for managing the department'sbudget andsitebudget costs to meet the approvedtargets. + Manage and implement the spare parts holding policy for the site ensuring the optimum stock holding. + Responsible for ensuring that site specific engineering standards and SOPs are updated and developed as appropriate. + Drive employee engagement, training and development. What will you need to be successful? + BS Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Process or similar). + 7 + years experience in engineering & maintenance within a food / beverage manufacturing setting. + Proven leadership and people management skills at a manager level. + Experience implementing predictive / preventive maintenance programs. + PMI / TPM certification is highly preferred (or similar). + Food related automation / process control technology advances / equipment design & applications. + Project management execution. Compensation Data The typical hiring range for this role is $107,757 to $163,112 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
