This position is responsible for leading and coordinating the activities of the CAD/CAM department including Tooling Design and CNC programming.

Directs the activities of tooling designers and CNC programmers Supports operations with design and programming work when required Working closely with tool and die makers to develop manufacturing plans that ensure efficient production and high quality tool production Developing new manufacturing technology in support of process and product improvement Management of CAD/CAM systems to drive standardization Ensuring that processes meet all Howmet Safety standards for both operation and product reliability Ensuring the strategic development of employees within the department and ensures the completion of periodic performance evaluations, annual goals and Individual Development Plans (IDP) Flexibility for occasional (<15% of time) travel for training or support of operations in other Howmet facilities
