Senior Project Engineer

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.The work model for the role is: on siteThis role is contributing to the electrification division in Mexico.You will be mainly accountable for:• 3D design of electrical components, frames, electrical conductor bars, support in design projects of assembly families, floor case follow-up• Collaborating with various teams to support ABB’s operations, ensuring effective coordination and successful project completion within the defined timelines.• Participating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative efforts.• Seeking feedback and guidance from manager and team members to improve performance and skills.

Qualifications for the role

Active students who will graduate next December 2025 or December 2026 from careers like Electromechanical Engineering, Mechatronic, or related.English AdvancedMicrosoft office, CREO Parametrics, Solidworks, AutoCADElectrical diagram and one line diagramsProactive, negotiation, teamwork, effective communication
