Job Description

Business Development  & Engineering Manager is going to take care of her/his team within our biscuit factories in Lovosice and Marianske Lazne. Her/His responsibility is to combine all the key aspects like a people care/leadership, project management and procedural compliance, in order to deliver all variety of projects, integrating  business aspects  as well as following standard engineering ,automation and digitalization fields.

People Leadership :

Lead and develop BDE team, ensuring the team’s continuous growth throughout project management, IL6S/operational excellence, benchmarking automation, digitalization and standard engineering knowledge and skills.Coach and mentor direct reports, creating a robust deputy system to ensure continuity in team functions.Develop and manage the succession planning process to ensure the sustainability of the team’s technical capabilities.

Project Management:

 Lead cross-functional teams throughout the entire project lifecycle, from planning to execution, delivering  all variety of projects,  including a 5% year-over-yearProductivity improvements by automation and digitalizationClosely collaborate with regional/global  Business development, engineering teams, R&D, quality, HSE, Product Safety and manufacturing to support performance KPIsFoster technical benchmarking to identify and implement best practices, bringing innovative technologies to the plantTake full responsibility for the execution of projects according to the internal methodology, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and cost adherence within VSU reporting.

Finance Management:

Take full responsibility for the realization of investment projects within the agreed budget CAPEX/OPEXMonitor and control project budgets, ensuring accurate and efficient tracking of CAPEX spending and expenditure phasing.Provide monthly reporting on budget status, ensuring financial oversight and alignment with overall project goals.

Procedures & Standards:

Create, update, and ensure adherence to procedures and standards aligned with internal requirements, driving consistency and compliance within Business Development and Engineering team.Ensure compliance with various safety, food safety, quality, and environmental programs across all projects and operations, promoting a culture of compliance and awareness within the team.
