Engineer III - Product Engineering **POSITION SUMMARY:** We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Product Engineer to support the development, optimization, and lifecycle management of DC, RF, Match, and Plasma Power systems used in semiconductor, and industrial applications. The ideal candidate will act as a technical bridge between R&D, manufacturing, quality, and customer support to ensure product performance, reliability, and manufacturability. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** 1. Collaborate with design and development teams on new product introductions (NPI) and enhancements for DC, RF, Matching Networks, and Plasma power systems. 2. Support root cause analysis and resolution of product issues including yield, quality, field returns, and customer complaints. 3. Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Test (DFT), and Design for Reliability (DFR) principles in product development. 4. Develop and maintain product documentation, including specifications, work instructions, test plans, and engineering change orders (ECOs). 5. Interface with suppliers and internal manufacturing teams to address technical issues and ensure a smooth production ramp. 6. Participate in cross-functional teams for failure analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes. 7. Lead cost-reduction initiatives and product performance improvements without compromising quality or compliance. 8. Serve as the technical expert for assigned product lines and support technical training for internal teams and customers. 9. Other duties as assigned. **QUALIFICATIONS:** + Experience in product engineering, preferably in RF/DC power supplies, matching networks, or plasma generation systems. + Familiarity with power electronics, RF components, impedance matching, and plasma system integration. + Experience in semiconductor capital equipment industry. + Exposure to high-volume manufacturing environments. + Strong understanding of electrical and thermal design principles. + Proficiency with tools like SPICE, RF simulation software, LabVIEW, or MATLAB. + Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills. + Hands-on experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum/network analyzers, etc.). **EXPERIENCE:** + Knowledge of ISO, IPC, and regulatory compliance standards. + Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean methodologies. + Component Life Cycle Analysis (ie. using Part Miner, Parts Universe, Promiere, Puma). **EDUCATION:** + Bachelor’s or Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field. + Electrical safety training (additional company safety courses may be required). **WHY TO JOIN US?** As part of our total rewards philosophy, we believe in offering and maintaining competitive compensation and benefits programs for our employees to attract and retain a talented, highly engaged workforce.
