Position Summary Principal Responsibilities1. Responsible for managing and supporting all document control requirements to Teleflex corporate, legal requirements value streams, management, and the site ESH for the company.
2. Responsible for overall Occupational Safety & Health initiatives for the company including planning, developing, and implementing Safety Health & Environmental programs, policies, and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements.
3. Coordinate and drive the site’s Zero Harm Journey and contribute to Teleflex realizing its Zero Harm Vision by enabling management to develop EHS excellence at the site.
4. Coordinate and assist the EHS risk owners to implement, maintain, and as necessary develop, the site’s EHS Management System, known hereafter as the CMS (Core Management System).
5. Continually assist site EHS advisor to ensure all EHS incidents are investigated and managed in accordance with Teleflex Global EHS Standard.
6. Responsible for identifying health and safety hazards and recommending corrective actions.
7. Establish documents, implement and maintain the EHS Management System (EHSMS) and continually improve its effectiveness in accordance with the requirements,
8. Prepare and coordinate the EHS Performance Evaluation Program (PEP) as per Teleflex Global EHS requirements.
9. Rigorously capture NCs (Non-Conformance) and provide appropriate control measures that fit-for-purpose pertinent corrections and robust corrective actions.
10. Coordinate the Training schedule in relates EHS for each Value Stream and perform system and manufacturing process audits as per the audit schedule.
11. Liaise with external audit parties and follow the auditor during system audit e g. FM Global, DOSH, DOE, and other Government agencies.
12. Lead the Teleflex Sustainability initiative, especially the waste management and waste prevention initiative for the site.
13. Assist the value stream lead and other functional managers in managing sustainability elements at the site.
14. Responsible for coordinating overall Scrubber Management, Local Exhaust Ventilation System, Audiometric test, etc.
15. Provide technical support to CePSO CPs/ TPs/PICs for managing the Air Pollution Control system.
16. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
17. Conduct environmental audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks.
18. Manage permits, licenses, and reports related to environmental compliance.
19. Develop and implement sustainability programs and initiatives to reduce the company’s environmental footprint.
20. Promote resource efficiency, waste reduction, and energy conservation.
21. Lead projects related to waste management, and sustainable sourcing.
22. Collaborate with stakeholders to set and achieve sustainability goals and targets.
23. Prepare and present environmental and sustainability reports to senior management.
Qualification :
Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or Diploma with more than
3 years of solid working experience or equivalent such as holding competency in environmental management (CEPSO), Confined Space Management – AESP, Internal auditor competency in ISO 45001 & ISO 14001
Experience :
3-5 years of working experience in a similar capacity is an added advantage.
