To learn more about Convatec, please visit  http://www.convatecgroup.com **Position Overview:** + This role supports the Global Emerging Markets (GEM) Business Unit Franchise to achieve its goals by leading, directing and supporting activities that will bring about changes in clinical practice to support the increased adoption of key Convatec brands, products and services. + The role has a global remit but will focus on key markets and treatment venues. It will require the setting up and maintenance of strong networks, internally and externally, focused on current and future clinical practice. The role may include providing medical and clinical representation on New Product Development (NPD) Core Teams. **Main Responsibilities:** Follow-up to IMSS, STPS, SSA procedures Implementing the work programme Conduct New Entry, Promotion, Periodic and Specific Examinations for Exposed Personnel Support as head of first aid brigade Follow up on accidents and incidents at work Monitor and coordinate medical consultations Make and send monthly statistical reports Tours of the plant to detect risks to health and work environment Give health talks in relation to the needs of the company Spearheading, encouraging, promoting and disseminating health campaigns Supervise that the activities of the medical department are fulfilled in a timely manner Meet the monthly commissions for follow-up of cases presented in the IMSS. Carry out tours of the dining room, verification of regulatory compliance, presentation, taste and hygiene of food. Participate and moderate meetings with the cafeteria committee Carry out prevention programmes Detect occupational and environmental risk factors in health, in accordance with current regulations. Detect damages according to occupational diseases related to work and current regulations. Attend to the emergencies and emergencies of workers, in accordance with current regulations. Attend to the worker with occupational disease or work-related disease in accordance with current regulations. Availability to answer calls for any eventuality raised in the plant outside working hours, and if it was an emergency go as far as possible. Supervise GMM scheduling. Scheduling surgeries, reimbursements Comply with safety, health and environmental policy, procedures established by the EHSMS. Maintain applicable documented information related to the EHSMS up to date. Participate in committees, trainings, and awareness, to ensure proper competency of their position if applicable. Be aware of and support compliance with applicable significant environmental aspects and associated significant environmental impacts. Understand EHS risk and legal requirements relating to job responsibilities and appropriate requirements. Execute job responsibilities with professional care and in compliance with legal requirements and internal standards without compromising the safety of self and others. Be alert to EHS hazards in the workplace, responding to them as appropriate and communicating them to responsible management as soon as they are identified (e.g. spills). Help drive continuous performance improvement in EHS areas, recommending potential improvements to responsible management. Participate in identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing the necessary actions to achieve the intended results of their activities. Carry out and monitor in conjunction with the Safety, Health and Hygiene supervisor compliance with the company's policies, as well as the requirements of the Federal and State statutes. Ensure that the Health and Hygiene program is understood and followed by the Company's employees. That health and hygiene programs help the continuous improvement of products, quality systems and customer requirements. That there is a hygienic environment in the kitchen and dining room. Verify and channel for follow-up the psychosocial risks detected, support in the implementation of activities for their prevention. Supervise that the physical risks that occur in the plant that are resolved in a timely manner are the purpose of avoiding or reducing the risk of accidents. Supervise compliance with the program of activities of the Medical and Nursing staff. **Requirements:** Doctor (title and indispensable certificate) Master's Degree in Occupational Health Minimum 5 years of experience in the Maquiladora industry. Experience in procedures before IMSS, SSA and STPS. Management of computational packages (Excel medium-advanced, Ppt, Word, Publisher) Knowledge in occupational health management processes Knowledge in LFT, Regulations, normativity, decrees at the state, national level applicable to the workplace Occupational hazard analysis Prevention of occupational and health risks Experience in coordinating campaigns, health fair, vaccination and events for the benefit of employee health.
