Job SummaryThe Director of Brand Licensing will be responsible for developing and executing a licensing strategy that expands the portfolio of licensed content’s reach and drives revenue growth. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in licensing, brand management, and partnership negotiations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of intellectual property rights and the ability to cultivate relationships with key industry partners to enhance brand presence across multiple lottery categories. This position will also serve as the main liaison between the licensed property brand management team, sales teams, legal and finance for all lottery license agreements, financial tracking & reporting and management of licensor royalty payments.
Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive brand licensing strategy to maximize market penetration and revenue Negotiate license agreements and manage licensee relationships with third-party licensors Maintain brand integrity by ensuring licensees adhere to brand guidelines and quality standards Collaborate with internal teams including but not limited to marketing, sales, finance, product development, and legal to support global licensing initiatives Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new licensing opportunities Monitor and evaluate licensee performance, ensuring alignment with company objectives and maximizing profitability Manage contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and long-term partnerships Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory requirements affecting brand licensing QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field (Master’s preferred). Minimum 10-years of experience in brand licensing, partnerships, or business development roles Proven track record in negotiating and managing high-value licensing agreements Strong understanding of brand management, intellectual property rights, and trademark protection Sound financial acumen needed for financial planning and analysis to ensure sustainable portfolio growth Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Ability to analyze market trends, financial reports, sales reports and licensing performance metrics Expertise in strategic planning and revenue generation through licensing partnerships Leadership experience with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and external partnersPreferred Skills:
Experience working with global licensing programs and expanding brands internationally Negotiate and secure licensing agreements, ensuring terms, royalty rates, and contract compliance are favorable across all lottery channels and global territories. At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $117,880 - $240,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
