Director, Technical Accounting and SEC Reporting
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Director, Technical Accounting and SEC Reporting to lead the Company's external financial reporting function. This individual will be responsible for preparing and reviewing all SEC filings, ensuring compliance with U. . GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX requirements. The role will also support technical accounting matters, work closely with external auditors, and partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Legal, and Investor Relations teams. + Lead the preparation and timely filing of all SEC filings, including 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, earnings releases, proxy statements, and other periodic filings + Oversee XBRL tagging and submission processes + Monitor and interpret new accounting pronouncements; assess their impact and lead implementation + Draft and maintain technical accounting position papers and memos + Prepare and distribute quarterly investor relations slide deck + Collaborate with Legal and Investor Relations on financial disclosures and earnings materials + Drive quarterly close and reporting processes to meet filing deadlines + Support SOX compliance related to external reporting processes and controls + Lead annual and quarterly audit engagements with external auditors + Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial disclosures + Manage and develop a high-performing team of SEC reporting professionals + Support ad hoc projects such as equity transactions, M&A due diligence, and adoption of new standards + Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, Master's Degree preferred + 12+ years of progressive experience, including public accounting and public company reporting + Deep knowledge of U. . GAAP, SEC reporting rules, and Sarbanes-Oxley + Proven ability to manage and lead teams, processes, and cross-functional projects + Experience with Workiva, ERP systems (e. . , Workday, Oracle, SAP), and consolidation/reporting tools preferred + Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills + High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines + Experience in high-growth or complex organizational environments preferred + Exposure to investor relations, corporate transactions, or IPO process is a plus + All Compensation is commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors, including geographic location, market, and operational factors. + Base Pay Range: $167,200 - $209,000 + Other Compensation: Incentive Compensation + Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, 401(k) Savings Plan, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Professional Development Program, 23 Days of Paid Time Off Per Year, 8 Paid Holidays, Paid Sick Time (in geographies where legally required) + An inspirational place for you to do your best work, be engaged in meaningful ways, and continually develop the skills, competencies, and qualities that set our team apart.
