We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Digital Tagging Manager to lead the implementation and management of digital tracking across our eCommerce web pages. This role is critical in ensuring accurate data collection, enabling effective digital marketing strategies, optimizing media performance and measuring the impact of new site enhancements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with tag management systems, data layer implementation, and collaboration with marketing, analytics, and development teams. This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for an employer within the United States. What you will be doing: Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all tags in Adobe Data Collection (formerly Launch) in a structured, streamlined method to comply with the corporate tagging governance plan. This will include, but is not limited to, analytics & marketing and media pixels and conversion tracking. Support legacy Google Tag Manager (GTM) items as needed. Optimize the tagging strategies to improve site performance. Collaborate with marketing, business partners and development teams to define tagging requirements for campaign tracking, user behavior, and conversion measurement. Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ad-hoc analyses, and quality assurance (QA) of websites, marketing pixels, analytics tagging and data. Ensure data is flowing downstream as expected into reporting tools – Adobe Analytics and/or marketing tools interface. Conduct regular audits and QA processes to ensure all tags function correctly and align with compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). Identify tracking gaps and lead the effort to close them. Provide technical support and documentation for stakeholders to facilitate the understanding and adoption of tagging best practices. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, privacy regulations, and advancements in tag management solutions. What you’ll need to be successful: A solid technical and analytical foundation, likely through a bachelor’s degree in marketing, analytics, or computer science. 3+ years of hands-on experience in digital marketing technologies and tools, particularly around tag management (Adobe Launch, Tealium or GTM) and web analytics (Adobe Analytics). Technical knowledge to implement and troubleshoot CSS, JavaScript or HTML-based tags, ensuring accurate data collection. The ability to understand both the tools (Adobe Analytics) and the broader ecosystem (like privacy regulations and advertising pixels). Works well in collaborative settings and solve technical problems effectively. Deep understanding of Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), including strategies for data unification, audience segmentation, and cross-channel activation. Adobe Analytics certification is a plus. The pay range for this position is between $75,000 - $95,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
