Digital Product Area Owner Assembly Assurance Control

What you will do

You will be leading an area of core digital products for Manufacturing Execution business capabilities. You will together with your team be key players in establishing the next generation Target Map for Manufacturing. As Digital Product Area Owner and Line Manager for all people within the Stable Team for Assembly Assurance Control area, you will focus primarily on leading digital capabilities for Digital Work Instructions.

Key responsibilities Leading Digital Product Area for Assembly Assurance & Control Collaborating closely with the Digital Product Managers (DPM) and other key stakeholders in your area Support our ambition to Transform to Perform by implementing DevSecOps ways-of-working Line managing 10-15 skilled IT professionals located in Skövde, Sweden in roles like Digital Product Owner, Software Engineer, Solution Engineer and Solution Architects in a Stable Team Developing the team's skills and capacity for both short and long-term goals Promoting an environment of continuous learning, honesty, transparency and collaboration Secure that product quality meets compliance, budget, and service level agreements

 

You will be part of the GTO Produce & Maintain Management Team, together with 5 other Digital Product Area Owners and you will report directly to Head of GTO Produce & Maintain. GTO Produce & Maintain is a portfolio of global core digital products supporting the business processes of Manufacturing Execution, Plant Maintenance, Performance Management and Quality. You are part of a global management team and you will actively collaborate with stakeholders in many different countries and navigate in a multi-cultural environment. You also have a strong transformation and quality focus and a personal drive to reach the objectives and targets set for our unit while understanding how these contribute to the Volvo Group vision and strategy.

Who are you?

You have leadership experience and experience with product or project management in a multi-cultural environment. You have strong communication skills and a passion for building and motivating high performing teams. You have a genuine interest in people and know how to inspire, motivate, and coach team and individuals to do great things together. You have experience with Agile methodologies and have a strong ownership mentality. You strive to improve and develop yourself, the team and the products in your area..
