**The Opportunity**
This position works out of our Austin, TX in the EP division.
In Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.
As the Digital Marketing Strategy Specialist, you'll have the chance to work with the different marketing and business teams to turn their business strategies into executable digital strategies. Specifically, responsible for upfront strategic planning including content strategy and execution to effectively translate business objectives into customer-focused solutions that demonstrate meaningful and tangible results. In this position, you will use analytics and insights to optimize digital channels, including web, social media, email, paid search, display, etc. Partners with others within the organization to execute these strategies and optimize digital experiences.
**What You’ll Work On**
+ Manages relationships with internal business partners. This role is the face of the Digital team to our partners and primary contact for all digital efforts.
+ Collaborates with analytics team and business partners to translate business goals into digital KPIs.
+ Creates digital strategies based on overarching business and marketing strategies. Works with the digital team to develop and execute specific content and tactics.
+ Plans for the creation, approval, delivery and governance of content across earned, owned, paid and social media for a variety of digital tactics, including emails, landing pages, websites, social networks, mobile, paid search, etc.
+ Edits content for accuracy, voice, readability and comprehensiveness as well as consistency.
+ Maintains a deep understanding of customer journeys and user needs to apply content and UX strategy according to business goals and objectives.
+ Manages the progress of projects coordinating activities among stakeholders and tracking completion of tasks to full execution of each project.
+ Use analytics, insights and best practices to optimize user experience, digital strategies, content and tactics across all digital channels including SEO and SEM.
+ Adheres to Digital Marketing policies including Web Content Review and Approval, Removal, and Governance policies.
+ Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
+ Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
+ Serves as the lead resource for Adobe Marketo Engage implementation, configuration, and reporting.
+ Performs all technical tasks to build integrated campaigns including emails, websites, simple and complex journey maps for both one-time and automated campaigns; building supporting forms and landing pages where necessary.
+ Works with others in Marketing to refine audience requirements, creates audience segments to facilitate list development for marketing campaigns, ensure/regularly audit email list hygiene as well as data integrity.
+ Collaborates with MarCom, Professional Education and Social Media channel managers to determine together the types of campaign assets that will generate the strongest results.
+ Primary POC for agency execution of campaign deliverables (emails, landing pages, social posts).
+ Collaborates with the Sr. Manager, Digital Solutions to ensure proper use of the EP tech stack as well as keeping an up-to-date inventory of digital products for use in campaigns.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelors Degree (± 16 years).
+ 7-10+ years of experience in a digital domain – with strong digital marketing experience.
+ 5+ years creating and executing digital strategies/content dev for web, paid, social, and email within med device/healthcare.
+ Experience with marketing automation preferred.
+ 3+ years of experience working with content management systems (Adobe Experience Manager preferred) and experience working with technical team members (i.e. business analysts, IT and developers) to execute web projects.
+ 3+ years of experience executing analytics projects or working in close collaboration with an analytics team (knowledge of Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Tableau preferred).
+ Requires deep practical knowledge of these tools, concepts and methodologies within a regulated industry, preferably Medical Device or related healthcare sector.
+ Strong writing, proofing and editing skills within the digitally focused environment including the ability to create shareable content.
+ Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects at one time.
+ Flawless attention to detail; highly organized.
+ Possess thorough understanding of the digital space as it relates to: principles of digital customer experience/UX design, management of digital assets including taxonomy, meta data; social media; paid search and SEO best practices.
+ Exceptional oral and written communication skills; captivating presenter and great listener.
+ Experience influencing and educating stakeholders on digital best practices and insights.
+ High comfort level leading brainstorms and ideation and filling up whiteboards. Combination of right and left-brain thinking that challenges the status quo.
+ Experience with agile methodologies a plus.

The base pay for this position is $66,700.00 – $133,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
