DevOps/ Consultant Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

DevSecOps expert, who can self-manage and drive the team towards CI /CD integration and implementation.Should drive support various DevOps initiatives.Provides analysis and solutions to technical and business issues.Understand and apply technology and corporate vision setting direction on implementation.Maintain awareness of business and technology strategies and implements technical alternatives and strategies to gain competitive advantage.Assist in the development of the strategic technical architecture.Designing and implementing automation tools and frameworks for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.Monitoring and managing infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application development, deployment, and operations.Remain current on technical and professional advances and business strategies regarding area of responsibility.Serve as expert in area of responsibility, identifies process improvements and problem prevention, and advises department and management of relevant information as appropriate.Resolve architectural or development blockers raised.Provide technical leadership and consultation to project team members as directed by the project manager.Provide direct guidance in planning, designing, programming, documentation, and implementation of the systems.Perform reviews of new and existing systems to ensure operational integrity and accomplishment of stated objectives.Design, code, test, debug and document programs as required.Ensuring compliance with all relevant controls and standardsKeep up-to-date and have expertise on current tools, technologies and areas like cyber security and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy, consent, data residency etc. that are applicable.Ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

Over 5 years of experience in DevOps with a strong focus on CI/CD, automation.Hands on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.Working experience with Jenkins Groovy Declarative pipeline.Hands on experience with Ansible Automation PlatformSolid knowledge on infrastructure like Linux OS, networking, storage, load-balancer, etc.Expertise in docker, k8s, service meshExperience in SCM tools like Github, BitbucketExperience in tracking tools like JiraSolid knowledge of REST, APIsExperience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet or Chef)Experience in Build tools, Maven, GradleExperience and expertise on Package management tool, preferably NexusExpertise in monitoring and observability technologies like Prometheus, AppDynamics, Splunk, Open Telemetry.Experience in the financial industry will be an added advantage.Ability to work independently and think out of the box.The passion and ability to lead/motivate and develop technologist, including mentoring and coaching.Superior listening skills, ability to learn quickly, and willing to accept accountability for company and team success.Extensive critical thinking skills for problem identification and solution recommendation.Highly flexible, set priorities and meet deadlines in a changing environment
