About the Team
The Global Supply Chain Management (SCM) Central Demand Planning Team is the engine for driving material plans, purchases, inventory and availability throughout the ZF Aftermarket business worldwide. We are responsible for demand management, creating forecasts, EOQs and Safety Stock levels on hundreds of thousands of products across multiple product groups and sites around the world using a range of software, knowledge and analytical skills. The Global team works closely with the Regions / sites in developing a Sales & Operations Plan (S&OP) to refine the forecasts & Safety Stock to ensure alignment with capacity and suppliers.
What you can look forward to as a Demand Planning Specialist (m/f/d):
Responsible for managing the statistical Demand Forecast calculation and reviewing exceptions for all products; Responsible for Safety Stock / Safety Time Calculation and optimization to support planned availability levels. Optimization of associated inventory parameters e.g. EOQ, Batch; Key user for Global Aftermarket to optimize planning processes (Demand Forecasting and Inventory) and improve quality of planning, e.g. Forecast Accuracy, ITR, Inventory Level; Continuously Improve and implement Forecasting processes, system and KPIs, standardized across Regions & Plants globally; Provide the interface from the Global Team to the Regional SI&OP planning processes supporting regions / plants in achieving results.
Your Profile as a Demand Planning Specialist (m/f/d):
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or similar qualification/experience; Min. 2 years of working experience in SCM; Experience and understanding of SCM planning process, Inventory Optimization and related systems/parameters; SI&OP / ERP Experience (preferably SAP); Demand Planning / Forecasting Experience (preferably SAP IBP); Superior problem solving and analytical skills with a high attention to detail; English Language fluency.
