Support storage related task and operation for multiple OS like Windows, AIX, RHEL, ESX and Solaris + Candidate must coordinating with Infrastructure teams like Wintel/ESX, Unix, Backup, Network and different application teams + Candidate must have very good experience on Incident tickets, Change controls and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities in the role + Maintains smooth operation of Enterprise class Storage subsystems and multi-user Unix/Wintel computer systems, including coordination with other IT functions. + Champion analyzing, defining and documenting business and functional requirements and Standard Operating Procedures independently + Actively involved in identifying and providing value-added solutions to business. + Ensure customer satisfaction targets are achieved, enhance customer service adhering to SLA + Must learn on the job towards developing functional knowledge in multiple domains and technologies + Focus and Align with global technology roadmap and strategy for the respective portfolio with clearly defined involvement and outcome + Must acquire knowledge of CTS and Medtronic Quality tools and practices + Champion knowledge management initiatives across modules + Collaborate with other IT teams to address production issue and perform preventive actions. **Skills Required** + Graduation with full time Educational qualification required for this position 5+ Years experience in the field of Storage technologies( Enterprise NAS (EMC Isilon and NetApp) Below are the Technical skills required for this position + Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience with expertise in Storage production support team + Primary Skill – EMC – VMAX /POWERMAX, NetApp Filers, EMC Isilon administration. + Secondary Skill – UNITY, VPLEX. XIO, CISCO MDS SAN switches + Strong skills on DELL VMAX/Powermax SRDF (Sync, Async, ACP) and Symsnapvx + Strong experience of NAS (EMC Isilon ) -NFS, CIFS,SMB configuration + Strong experience of EMC Isilon (SnapIQ, SnapshotIQ, SyncIQ, InsighIQ, CloudIQ) + Technically strong in NetApp technology. ( C-Mode & 7-Mode - CLI experience is preferred) + In depth knowledge in Netapp Clustered Mode ( NAS- CIFS/SMB/NFS/ NDMP, LUN/ Shares, Vserver Management, Snap Mirror, DR Config, DR Test etc.) + Understanding of CISCO MDS Switches and DCNM + Good knowledge on SAN & NAS Systems Administration + Good Analytics skills, problem solving with day to day issues + Ensuring the tickets are attended and resolved as per the SLA. + Ensure the environment is healthy by doing daily health checks and preventive corrections. + Knowledge on storage monitoring tools + knowledge of storage and backup for Linux, AIX, Solaris & Windows operating system + Good Knowledge on Shell / Perl or Python scripting + Collaborate with datacenter operations team, Internal and external vendors. + Should be flexible to work on weekends & off hours during for supporting projects tasks. + Flexibility to work as Oncall during weekends and off-business hours. + Must have excellent Communication skills + Must have good ITIL Knowledge to manage SLA for the Incident, Changes, Problem changes **Preferred (Optional) Skills** + Cloud Platform knowledge + Knowledge on EXSI Hardware, CISCO UCS Manager + Knowledge on Backup tools such as TSM, NetBackup, would be an added advantage. + Basic overview of SAP Application, DB2, Oracle functions Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer that embraces diversity, champions equity and values inclusion.
