Mission

As Delivery Manager, you will report to the Sr. IT Manager of Global Custom Software Solutions and lead the development teams responsible for building and maintaining PPG’s custom applications. You will ensure the successful execution of software projects by managing teams, tools, processes, and vendor relationships. Your role is critical in aligning technical delivery with business goals, driving innovation, and maintaining high standards of quality and performance.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage cross-functional Scrum teams delivering custom software solutionsEnsure timely and quality delivery of software projects in collaboration with Program ManagersOversee application design compliance with architectural standards and manage technical debtCollaborate with Product Owners to align development with business prioritiesCoordinate with architecture, DevOps, and governance teams throughout the development lifecycleSupervise internal and external resources, including hiring and performance managementMonitor and ensure service KPIs, security compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements8+ years of experience in IT applications, including 4+ years in a leadership roleStrong background in Agile software development and DevOps environmentsProven experience managing software teams and delivering complex solutionsSolid understanding of software architecture and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)Application development experience in the Microsoft stackExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fieldNice to HaveMaster’s degree in a related fieldExperience with open-source stacks and project/vendor managementFamiliarity with tools like Checkmarx, SonarLint, and SonarQubeITIL Foundations Certification
