Job Summary:
The Delegated Supplier Quality Representative supports the organization through primarily serving as a delegated customer release agent. This role ensures product and process compliance throughout manufacturing and final product release by utilizing inspection and system review techniques. The DSQR may be responsible for providing technical support to the management of customer programs and other relevant functions, with respect to the quality of products and product-related services provided by Dupont. This support may include acting as liaison to government and customer representatives and coordinating all Quality functions as they relate to specific programs. Responsible for flow-down of quality requirements and customer specifications to both hourly and salary associates.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary liaison between DuPont and our customers regarding quality-related matters, ensuring clear communication and effective resolution of any issues that may arise.Execute final product release ensuring product and associated documentation conform to defined customer and in-house requirements.Responsible for lot-by-lot release for all shipments. Must review each lot for compliance with processing and quality requirements.Interpret customer and industry specifications and provide recommendations to Management and Technical teams.Execute Contract reviews, product and process quality plans, and standard work that assures conformance to all customer and regulatory requirements.Utilize inspection techniques to audit processes to assure compliance with Quality practices and work instructions throughout the facility.Prepare and facilitate First Article Inspection.Support the Internal Audit process, Process Audits, and customer audits as required.Support the review of manufacturing planning documentation and implementation of customer requirements.Assist Quality Engineering with tasks as needed.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Education & Experience:
Required:
Must have or be able to obtain certification as delegated customer quality representative, including SAE AS13001 Release Verification Certification.Must be willing to obtain or already have ASQ-CQT Certification or greater.Requires a minimum of three years of experience in an AS9100 manufacturing environment with responsibilities for accepting and rejecting products in a Quality Assurance Role.Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting GD&T.Proficient in inspection techniques utilizing hand tools and gauging.Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and computer usage (Excel, Word, Internet, etc.).Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Preferred:
