Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Développeur Web /Web Developper.
The hourly rate for this position is $27.50 CAD per hour.

**What you’ll do:**
Eaton is looking for web development interns for its new Center of Excellence (CoE) for Distributed Energy Resource Management Solutions (DERMS). Eaton's new DERMS CoE accelerates the company's growth by developing advanced control algorithms and state machine logic for scalable, cost-effective, and manufacturable DERMS applications, as well as standardized design methodologies that can be adopted by multiple Eaton businesses (e.g., UPS, microgrid control, energy storage, etc.). Additionally, it provides a foundation for our company to develop innovative energy products more quickly.

**Job Description:**
We are looking for a developer to join a multidisciplinary development team. They will participate in the design and development of a web application to manage the deployment of connected devices (IoT) in the context of distributed energy resource management.
**Main Functions:**
+ Design, develop, and/or implement new features in the web application for managing connected device deployments.
+ Collaborate with UI/UX designers for visualization tools integrated into the web application.
+ Test new features, identify risks, and propose alternative solutions.
+ Assist in fixing existing issues.
+ Participate in the agile design and development process.
**Qualifications:**
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Enrolled in an accredited university in Quebec.
+ Interest and experience in web development.
+ Skills with TypeScript/JavaScript, ideally with React.
+ Reside locally in the Montreal metropolitan area.
+ Access to transportation to the Brossard office.
+ Professional proficiency in French (spoken and written).
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience with C++, Golang, Linux, and/or Docker.
+ Comfortable working in multidisciplinary teams.
+ Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written).
**Work Environment:**
The candidate will work in a young, dynamic, and multidisciplinary development team. Development is done under Linux using cutting-edge web technologies such as TypeScript, React, Golang, etc. The candidate will also have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with cloud technologies (Docker) and low-level languages (C/C++) through collaboration with teams within the DERMS CoE.
Development follows agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban, JIRA). Teleconference tools such as Teams are used for remote collaboration.
