Job Description

Strong customer service oriented professional that is responsible for developing and maintaining excellent customer relationships with both internal and external customers. Possess flexibility within a team environment or individually with minimal supervision in a fast paced culture.

Professional etiquette dealing both in face-to-face communication as well as via telephone and email.Support launch of customer delivery creation at warehouse.Communication with both internal and external customers.Heavy telephone and email communication to respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner and update when deviations occur.Daily customer order pick creation.Entry level material planning.Transportation scheduling for both daily and expedite services utilizing customer websites and freight forwarding websites.Office duties: filing, faxing, scanning.Maintain and abide by records retention procedures per Central Directives.Knowledge of what an escalation processes is and reasons.Ability to problem solve utilizing the 5 Why’s or 8D formats.A team player that can effectively back up others as needed.Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 

3 - 5 years of experience in a warehouse environment requiredExcellent computer skills and working familiarity with multiple software packages, preferably MS Office and SAP ERP software packagesMust have strong verbal and written communication skills, professional telephone etiquette, and the ability to handle stressful situations in an efficient, professional mannerMust have a sense of team response to satisfy sales goals and assure 100% customer satisfactionMust be able to work with minimal or no supervision

Preferred Skills:

Bilingual: English / SpanishAssociates Degree in Business or related discipline preferred
