Country Payroll Specialist

Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Overall responsibilities and duties:
The Country Payroll Specialist will assist in overseeing the payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with the Joint Service Agreement between the FORVIA Faurecia Shared Service Centre and the plants. This role also encompasses responsibilities in finance and accounting, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.


The main missions of the role are to:
•    Assist in managing and overseeing the monthly payroll operation and annual payroll activities for all employees in Thailand entities (4 business Group), ensuring accuracy and compliance with the legislative update released by the Government.
•    In charge of monthly payroll control and reconciliation in accordance with the Group’s payroll policies and procedures.
•    Support the payroll team, providing the guidance and assistance.
•    Collaborate and coordinate with HR team to ensure the accurate employee data and benefits administration in both SuccessFactors and SAP payroll system.
•    Responsible for payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
•    Ensure timely and accurate submission of both monthly and annual payroll taxes, declaration, and other statutory requirements.
•    Support the finance and accounting departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation of payroll accounts.
•    Prepare and analyze payroll reports to support HR team or for management review upon request.
•    Stay updated on changes in Group’s payroll policies/procedures and ensure the company’s compliance (ICB).
•    Support the new project implementation as assigned by manager.
•    Handle the budget preparation and financial planning related to payroll expenses if requested.
•    Ensure and comply with the full payroll data confidentiality. 
•    Take the leadership to uphold the commitment to CoE, CoM and other internal compliance policy in the responsible team and relevant business partners to ensure that it is distributed to all employees and that each employee adheres to it.
 

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have/be:
•    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 
•    Able to travel between Bangkok & Rayong (Plants) twice a week.

Experience:

•    Minimum of 5 - 10 years of experience in HR environment, with strong experience in payroll management, with a strong background in finance and accounting.
•    Experience in a multinational company is preferable.
•    Familiar with managing team is an advantage.
•    Proficiency in HRIS system.

Skills and Competencies:

▪    Knowledge of Payroll & Time Management tool (SuccessFactors & SAP HR).
▪    Excellent leadership and team management skills.
▪    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
▪    Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
▪    Ability to prioritize tasks and strong organizational skills.
▪    Good-Fluent in English is required.
▪    Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
▪    Drive, Accountability, Teamwork, Agility, Respect and Open-Mindedness.
▪    International mind set, results and details oriented.
▪    Computer literate and good in Microsoft Office 360 (Word, Power point, Excel, etc.)
