**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Material Handling Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for installation, preventive maintenance, and the corrective repair of the automated packing and distribution equipment.
This job is part of the Material Handling job function. They are responsible for the incoming and outgoing movement and storage of raw materials, finished products and parts.
The shift for this position is as follows:
+ **Wednesday** : 11:30 PM - 5:30 AM
+ **Thursday to Saturday** : 5:30 PM - 5:30 AM
**What You’ll Do:**
Assist with technical and safety training.
Participate in and support efficiency improvement Kaizen activities for the site and network when needed.
Adhere to department business plans and budgets.
Maintain the efficient condition of all equipment through regular upkeep.
Identify and locate the right products during the delivery process.
Inspect and solve equipment and systems.
Check the functionality of safety systems.
Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
**What You’ll Need:**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent experience, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Working with conveyors, bearings, rollers, chains, sprockets, belts, gear boxes, motors, sorters, and slat sorters preferred.
+ Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
+ Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
+ Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
