**Job Description**
Danfoss Mexico is seeking a committed and energized **Continuous Improvement Lead** to deploy and execute the continuous improvement strategy, as well as to develop, implement, and sustain process improvement initiatives. This role supports the creation of a CI Culture and the development of necessary information and systems in accordance with the Danfoss Business System.
**Job Responsibilities**
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
+ Lead deployment of lean tools in the site, such as MIFAs, 5S’s, Kaizen, Setup Reduction, Cost Outs, Material Flow, standard work, TPM, and frequency studies coordination.
+ Define the 5S journey for the plant and oversee the execution and sustainability of the 5S program. Analyze information on the performance of the internal Audits program and define corrective and systemic actions based on results.
+ Lead the implementation of Continuous Improvement processes and systems required by the Danfoss Business System (DBS) and ensure a systematic approach to sustain these processes. Oversee proper execution and mentoring across the site.
+ Analyze operational information to identify cost-out opportunities in the site. Lead the Cost Out program and prepare Ideas Generator workshops for cost-out initiatives.
+ Plan and execute Material and Information Flow (MIFA) reviews, providing training and tools before, during, and after the MIFA reviews.
+ Monitor the execution of Kaizen Events, CI CAPEX projects, and CI Activities identified from the MIFA, and promote a recognition program for people engagement.
+ Oversee TIP execution and follow up on PMS/RCPS daily meetings.
+ Define a systemic process for technical training and operations skill matrix and supervise execution in accordance with the process.
+ Define a strategy for time studies revisions and ensure consistency of data setup in the ERP based on results.
+ Define a Visual Factory strategy and lead execution. Identify gaps based on assessment and benchmarked practices and define actions.
+ Promote risk prevention/assessment and process attachment.
+ Ensure activities follow the QMS (ISO-9001 and IATF16949) and quality policy and are aligned with the strategic direction of the organization and business context.
+ Ensure quality management system (ISO-9001 and IATF16949) requirements and resources are fully integrated and available within all business processes.
+ Any other activity that your immediate supervisor designates.

+ Education level required: Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or similar
+ Years and areas of experience required: 2-4 years of experience in a related position in the manufacturing environment.
+ Experience as a Change Agent in a manufacturing environment.
+ Solid and proven experience in lean manufacturing tools and six sigma methodologies.
+ Proficient in advanced analytical and cognitive skills.
+ Fully Bilingual English / Spanish.
+ Experience in Quality Systems requirements and ISO/IATF certifications
+ Technical knowledge
+ Lean Tool Expert on VSM, 5S, STW, TPM, SMED.
+ Proficient in MS Office /Excel
