Continuous Improvement Coordinator

Under broad supervision, executes the continuous improvement strategy and approach by translating business objectives into actionable projects. Engages with other departments to sustain, improve, and streamline all processes with a primary focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost. As part of the Continuous Improvement Team, supervises change agents and team members on medium-sized project tasks. Role typically requires between 3 and 5 years of experience.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Continuous Improvement (CI) Coordinator to join our team. The CI Coordinator will support the development, implementation, and optimization of processes aimed at improving efficiency, quality, and safety across the organization. This candidate will drive the development of our 5S program and sustainment. This candidate will help with all Lean initiatives. This candidate will be required to achieve their Marmon Blue Belt Certification.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Assist in the development and execution of continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing operational efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing product quality.
•    Work closely with various departments to identify process inefficiencies, areas for improvement, and opportunities for cost reduction.
•    Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on production or operational issues, identifying corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
•    Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI methodologies to enhance process flow and operational performance. 
•    Facilitate and participate in Kaizen events, 5S activities, value stream mapping, and other process improvement workshops.
•    Assist in training team members on continuous improvement principles, tools, and techniques.
•    Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to ensure that CI initiatives are effectively integrated into daily operations.
•    Help foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving across the organization.
•    Monitor and report on the effectiveness of quality control systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
•    This position will support both KT manufacturing facilities.

Required Qualifications:
•    A minimum of 5 Years of proven experience as a Continuous Improvement Coordinator or in a similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
•    Knowledge and experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other CI methodologies.
•    Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
•    Experience with root cause analysis, data analysis, and performance metrics.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
•    Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
•    Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar CI methodologies.
•    Experience with process mapping tools, such as value stream mapping (VSM) and process flow diagrams.
•    Knowledge of risk management practices and tools.
•    Familiarity with other industry standards or certifications, such as Six Sigma or Lean.
 

Anticipated Salary Range: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour based on applicable experience.

Pay Range:

66,560.00 - 99,840.00
