We are looking for a COMMODITY BUYER APPRENTICE to join our team!
Our Interiors Business Group is looking for a COMMODITY BUYER APPRENTICE for its R&D center based in Méru (50 min from Paris Gare du Nord).
The mission will last 12 months, ideally from 01/10/2025
You will be working on challenges that matter
Your missions:
• Provide inputs for Commodity strategy definition to Commodity Managers
• Consolidation of past sourced programs with right mapping of each assigned commodity.
• Establish a cost reference based on sourced prices for each technology per commodity.
• Monthly KPI review and update within assigned commodity perimeter.
• Monthly supplier sourcing database verification to update the scorecard.
• CO2e tracking & helping suppliers to reduce CO2 emission
• Closely working on CO2 topics to identify action plan & build reduction roadmap
• Identify innovation capabilities of suppliers and product / techno innovation within the assigned commodities
• Provide supplier list eligible for sourcing to program T&E buyer according commodity strategy for sustainable QCD performance
• Manage supplier selection of his/her segment/s of the commodity and deploys it within the regions
• Manage relationship / negotiation with his/her suppliers supported by the BG Commodity Manager
• Ensure that the strategic panel is implemented in the Development phase (Supplier Nomination Committees)

Your profile and competencies to succeedWhat if it were you?
• Master’s degree/Engineering diploma or Master in Purchasing (ongoing process)
• Good practice of software’s (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Internet
• First experience in purchasing as trainee
• Able to work in a matrix organization
• Autonomous, rigorous, sense of initiatives and good relationship
• Team spirit and teamwork mindset
• Used to work on remote mode
