The Commercial Escrow Specialist is responsible for supporting a team of Real Estate professionals in a variety of multi-state commercial real estate transactions, including the coordination of real estate closings, and timely review of title work. This position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced work environment with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and key priorities. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, detail-oriented and highly collaborative. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES + Coordinating and managing Real Estate Closings + Review and provide recommendations on contract documents + Inclusion on conference calls regarding real estate title matters + Garnering opinion on contractual/legal interpretation + Providing critical path dates for estimating store openings + Proof reading and editing documents + Proactive recognition and resolution of issues that have the potential to delay store openings + Assisting others with tasks where they are less knowledgeable with internal processes; such as,locating information, computer skills, information searches + Reviewing title work for issue that affect the use and development of a potential AutoZone site + Providing courtesy reminders to ensure amendments and other ancillary documents are procured ahead of contractual deadlines EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE + At least one year in handling routine contracts; real estate experience strongly preferred + Knowledge and mastery of MS Word, Outlook and Excel Benefits at AutoZone AutoZone cares about people.
