**Description**

Our Technical Operations team is full of aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain teams that help make sure they’re well taken care of and ready to get our customers to their desired destinations. **Job overview and responsibilities**
+ Coordinate central hazardous waste material storage facility and ensure hazardous waste stations located throughout the Los Angeles maintenance facilities are compliant & maintained
+ Maintain hazardous waste stations are compliant and maintained including proper labeling of hazardous material drums and confirm waste are properly containerized
+ Manage central hazardous material storage facility
+ Remove waste streams that are near 90 day or 360 day storage limits
+ Inspect and coordinate surface cleanings of hangar floor, apron and aircraft parking pads
+ Respond to small to medium sized hazardous waste and hazardous material spills
+ Assist in managing site storm-water pollution prevention program
+ Coordinate site pick-ups of hazardous waste
+ Schedule the removal of Jet A fuel sump carts and used oil from used oil containers
**Qualifications**
**What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent related experience
+ Previous hazardous waste / material experience at a large industrial facility
+ Comprehension of RCRA and DOT regulations and state agency requirements
+ Proficiency in fork lift operation and rum handling
+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
+ Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
+ Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Valid, Active driver's license
The base pay range for this role is $36,955.00 to $50,380.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
