This is a senior to intermediate-level relationship management role with Citi’s Financial Institutions team, which is one of the 4 main coverage teams in Corporate Banking. The Banker will manage a portfolio of clients comprising of banks, life and non-life insurers, asset managers, brokers dealers and fintechs with primary responsibilities for cultivating stronger client relationships, positioning Citi as our clients’ trusted advisor, maximising our share of the clients’ wallet and originating and driving episodic pipelines and deals. **In this role, you’re expected to:** + Cultivate senior client relationships at C-Suite level + Work with product partners to cross-sell Citi’s full spectrum of products and services by identifying and customizing solutions to meet clients’ financial, advisory, transactional needs + Engage clients on a wide range of product and advisory solutions, including loans, debt capital markets, agency & trust, securitization, foreign exchange, commodities, interest rate and equity derivatives, cash management, trade, custodian services and transition management solutions. + Drive client strategy in coordination with product partners and by leveraging on Citi’s global network. + Responsible for managing all credit, transactional and franchise risks during deal executions. Participate in credit, capital and other risk approval processes and run transaction return calculations + Evaluate public filings, research reports, operations, business plans and financial forecasts to produce strategic and financial analyses for account plans, credit reviews and client materials. + Drive content creation and thought leadership discussion with clients. Continuously stay informed of best practices and market and industry trends + Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. **As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:** + 4-6 years of experience in client coverage + Good work ethics with strong integrity + Comprehensive knowledge of credit analytics and financial modelling + Experience with Financial Institution clients preferred + Strong knowledge of Corporate Banking business and related products, pertinent regulations, risk assessment and compliance process + Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills + Proven interpersonal, communication, planning, negotiation, organizational and analytical skills Working at Citi is far more than just a job.
