The Food, Beverage, and Agribusiness Mid-Corp Relationship Manager is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in the field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Has a good understanding of the industry, and understands the competitive landscape. Has strong product knowledge across credit products and traditional banking products. Understands capital markets and with transactional experience in both debt capital markets and equity capital markets. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally and externally, often at a senior level. Accountable for significant direct business results and providing authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates responsibility over technical strategy. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project. Also, responsible for mentoring Analysts, Associates and Junior Bankers.
Responsibilities:
Be a subject matter expert in the Food, Beverage and Agribusiness industryUnderstand and follow trends within the industry to provide thought leadership to clientsDrive innovation on the solutions we provide clients through partnerships with product specialists and subject matter experts, while structuring deals that balance risk and rewardExecution experience on complex deals with a proven ability to lead a deal team processOversee the credit relationship of the client, coordinating and supervising the entire process, ensuring the proper application of policies and institutional processesEnsures compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi's policies / guidelines at all timesResponsible for actively calling on clients to deepen relationships and proactively owning, responding to and anticipating future needs, challenges or risks, in addition to identifying and pursuing new clients aligned with CITI COMMERCIAL BANK (CCB)’s value propositionCall on prospective clients and earn new business relationshipsAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparencyQualifications:
15+ years of experienceFINRA Licensing, Series 79, 63, SIEIn-depth knowledge of all aspects of commercial banking including strong commercial credit knowledge and an ability to quickly learn new products and servicesDemonstrates an expert level of Early Warning Detection skillsDemonstrates expert level credit skills; capable of structuring all credit deals and guiding staff through the credit deal approval processAbility to work effectively in team settingAbility to lead multi-functional teams to provide an exceptional client experienceExcellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills (e.g. negotiation, consultative skills, leadership)Ability to work under pressure while making sound decisionsHighly focused, able to rapidly determine key priorities, clearly communicate the prioritiesAccountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the businessA proactive approach in looking for ways in strengthening business relationship with clients, delivers a simple, secure, and seamless client experienceAbility to embrace new technology and understand the role digital plays in the experience we deliver for our clientsAble to quickly adapt priorities based on the latest data insightsEducation:
