We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Continuous Improvement Manager & Production Manager to join our team. This dual role is responsible for managing production operations while leading continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing management, lean methodologies, and team leadership.
Key responsibilities Continuous Improvement Innovate and Optimize: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements using lean manufacturing principles. Lead Transformative Projects: Facilitate continuous improvement projects, including Kaizen events and Six Sigma initiatives, to drive operational excellence. Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze production data to uncover trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Strategic Enhancements: Develop strategies to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and enhance overall productivity. Production Management Operational Oversight: Oversee all aspects of production operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards. Team Leadership: Manage and lead production teams, providing direction, training, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing workforce. Production Planning: Develop and implement production plans that align with customer demands and company goals. Safety First: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the production environment. Strategic Planning & Execution Collaborative Strategy: Work with senior management to develop and execute production and improvement strategies. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production and continuous improvement. Best Practices: Drive the implementation of best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) across the production floor. Collaboration & Communication Cross-Departmental Alignment: Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain) to ensure alignment and support for improvement initiatives. Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, management, and stakeholders regarding progress, challenges, and successes. Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive reports on production performance and improvement activities. Qualifications and skills Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Proven experience in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma. Experience with ERP systems and production planning software. Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.Working Conditions:
This position may require occasional overtime and weekend work. The role involves working in a manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures. Compensation DataThe typical hiring range for this role is $91,404 to $138,358 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
