Chief of Staff for the Communication, Marketing and Strategy leadership team-US

Position Overview:

You’ll serve as Chief of Staff for the Communication, Marketing and Strategy leadership team, helping to deliver on strategic priorities that span across multiple departments, zones, industries, and product segments. You will work closely with the SVP and other departmental leadership to get results across the company.

This position can be located in the United States or Europe.

Essential Functions:

Ideal candidate is upbeat, flexible and highly organized, can work cross functionally to identify business needs and is comfortable deriving meaning and relevance from wide-ranging data and perspectives. In this role, you will collaborate with numerous internal groups, at all levels of management and must be able to quickly form productive working collaborations of varying technical, skill level, and business backgrounds and to lead, influence and drive critical programs to fruition.

Responsibilities:

Drive and lead cross-team central initiatives, multiple and sophisticated projects; including the development and implementation of business strategies and tacticsUnderstand business requirements and translate them to program deliverablesEnsure program achievements and objectives are met. Communicate program progress and milestones to internal and external partnersPartner, collaborate and facilitate cross-functional alignment across key collaborators including different internal functions and various customers and/or third-party partnersIdentify and communicate interdependencies among project teamsCoordinate, lead and drive execution of strategic projects that are beyond the scope of one programAct as a sounding board to Sr. leadership on matters of strategy, team efficiency, and operationsChampion and drive efforts across the team to improve team efficiency and contribute to making Digital Industries and this team a great place to workHandle communications on behalf of leadership, distilling and communicating key messages to extended team and collaborators across the companyDrive team towards deadlines, acting as a thought partner as requiredBuild alignment on pivotal initiatives across the teamsContribute to communicating the strategy concisely via presentations, docs, blogs, videos, other mediaRun annual reporting and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) processes and leadership forums for Communication, Marketing, and Strategy + CEO executive teamCoordinate and run effective team meetings, including defining agenda, facilitating meetings capture and distribute key outcomes and action items, and cascade and follow-up as needed

Skills and Abilities Required:

Management experience, including staff and budget responsibilityExperience in a program management role with strong organizational and change management leadership and a strong sense of ownership/bias for action to deliver resultsValidated strong analytical, data-driven and problem-solving skills; willingness and ability to operate at both higher and more detailed levels as requiredMust be a flexible and creative individual capable of leading and handling multiple priorities and projects in a fast paced, often ambiguous and diverse environmentStrong leadership skills with proven track record to influence/negotiate and garner support for objectives; comfortable negotiating and driving timely decisionsSkilled diplomat with high levels of professional confidence and intuition for businessValidated effective written and oral communication skills with demonstrated experience of successfully working across organizational lines and strong executive presentation skillsWorks well with ambiguity and can wear many hatsExcellent interpersonal skills to build positive relationshipsSkilled at influencing and driving results horizontallyProven Program and/or Project Management SuccessValidated Analytical, Data-Driven, Problem solving skillsUnafraid to try new things or challenge the status quo

Education and Experience Requirement:

• BA, BS, or equivalent in Business, Marketing or related field

• Management Experience preferred including staff and budget responsibilities

The salary range for this position is $200,800 to $361,500 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.  Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
