In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Manage and optimize the Kanban system—set reorder points, lead times, and order quantities; maintain accurate Kanban card information  Use Simon ATP to assess and determine required part orders  Connect with vendors to expedite and follow up on orders  Procure materials and services as advised by the Materials Manager Acquire and evaluate vendor quotes to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms  Research new products and suppliers; collaborate with technical teams on selection  Create and manage purchase orders using Oracle Process and file packing slips daily per company policy  Work with Accounts Payable and vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies  Coordinate with the Quality Department on returns, replacements, and credit transactions  Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors  Provide backup support to the Materials Manager as needed  Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and make adjustments to ensure accuracy  Maintain inventory of office supplies and reorder as necessary  Support and promote 6S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety) and plant safety initiatives    Who You Are:

  For This Role, You Will Need: High School Diploma or equivalent   Strong organizational and time management skills  Prior purchasing or procurement experience   Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field  Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment  Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and Kanban systems   Our Culture & Commitment to You:
